Algerian citizens who are legally registered with a consulate or embassy inside Constituency 7 abroad and appear on the electoral list for that constituency can vote. You must be at least 18 years old on election day and not be deprived of your civil and political rights by a court decision.
To register, you must be enrolled in the consular register of your local Algerian consulate or embassy and request to be added to the electoral roll. Registration and revision periods are announced by the authorities before each election, so follow your consulate’s website and official social media for exact deadlines.
You should bring a valid Algerian identity document, such as a national ID card or passport. If possible, also bring any consular card or proof of registration to help the polling staff quickly confirm your identity on the list.
You will vote at the polling station assigned to your consular district, usually inside the consulate, embassy, or another approved location announced by the authorities. Each consulate will publish the exact addresses and opening hours for voting in Constituency 7 abroad.
Before election day, contact your consulate or embassy by phone, email, or in person to check your registration and assigned polling station. Many consulates also publish information on their website or notice boards where you can verify your details.
If your name is missing, contact the consulate immediately and bring your identity documents and proof of residence so they can review your situation. If the legal deadlines have passed, the consulate will inform you of your options and when you can correct your registration for future elections.
Polling staff are required to facilitate access as much as possible, and a trusted person may accompany you into the polling station if you need help moving. If a voter cannot physically mark the ballot, local rules may allow assistance from a trusted companion under the supervision of the polling bureau.
Consular services can guide you on registration, documents, polling stations, and any specific procedures for voting in your host country. They are the official channel for correcting your civil status data and answering legal questions about your right to vote.
FLN7Abroad candidates are dedicated to carrying the priorities of Algerians living in Europe into the National People’s Assembly. We listen to diaspora concerns on issues like consular services, youth opportunities, investment, and social rights, and work to reflect them in national laws and policies.
